About the charity
We are a UK based National Children’s charity, which helps those with disabilities, life-limiting conditions or are in extreme poverty.
I set up the charity several years ago with the aim of helping as many children and young people as possible. We have come a long way and I am proud of the work we have achieved. On behalf of the families we’ve helped, thank you. Your support, commitment and compassion for our charity are very much appreciated.
As a trustee, I have always wanted to do more than just sit behind a desk. I am passionate about the work of the Trust and take pride in being part of the weekly application review panel. In addition to playing my part towards fundraising for the Trust, completing the Birmingham Half Marathon in 2013 and more recently the Birmingham 10km in 2015.
I am both delighted and privileged to be able to accept an invitation to become a Trustee of the Boparan Charitable Trust. There are a considerable number of children and families who have benefited from their prompt response at times of need and crisis and I look forward very much to working with them to promote and expand their scope of work."
The Boparan Charitable Trust is undergoing an exciting period of growth and expansion.
Meet the Team
As the first point of contact for families, I get to see first-hand how important our work is for supporting and changing the lives of disadvantaged and disabled children in the Uk. We pride ourselves on being there for them at the earliest opportunity, always being available at the end of the phone.
My role is to produce a calendar of amazing events, entertaining fundraising activities and out of this world challenges that will enable us to raise the vitally needed funds, to continue and grow our work with children and to also spread the word about the work of the Boparan Charitable Trust.
My role is to help with organising the Trusts fantastic new fundraising events calendar. Looking after its growing social media presence and website. I am really excited to have joined this fantastic charity and look forward to helping many little stars shine bright.
Could you spare a few hours week to help or support the Trust. From working alongside our team in the office to supporting us at a fundraising event. It provides a rewarding opportunity for those wanting to put back into the community, a great opportunity for students to build up their portfolio, or perhaps an opportunity to fill up a few spare hours, to help little stars shine brighter.
