An inspirational teenager from Huddersfield has had their dreams of a career in film boosted thanks to the support of a National Children’s Charity.
Daisy, aged 16, has debilitating fatigue, asthma and multiple other conditions, resulting in her struggling to walk and self-propel her wheelchair. Her passion and dream are to become a specialist film maker after recently completing a residential course at The National Film and Television School. The Boparan Charitable Trust has helped to support Daisy with a brand-new specialist powered wheelchair, which will allow her to chase this dream further, offering independence and no need to be reliant on others to push her chair around.
The Boparan Charitable Trust is a National Children’s Charity helping to transform the lives of those with disabilities, life limiting conditions and in extreme poverty.
Gareth Aston Director for the Boparan Charitable Trust said “We are delighted to have been able to support Daisy in this way and hope that the new chair will allow her to complete her plans to enter into the world of film and television”.
