Poultry and Construction Industries Record‑Breaking fundraising for the Boparan Charitable Trust
17/07/2026
A determined team of ten adventurers from across the poultry, agriculture, and construction industries have completed an extraordinary fundraising challenge in support of the Boparan Charitable Trust. Dubbed the Atlas Adventure Challenge, the team climbed to the summits of the twin peaks of Mount Toubkal, the highest mountains in North Africa—standing at an astonishing 13,671 feet, higher than the combined height of the UK’s Three Peaks.
The team has raised over £83,500, thanks to generous support from across their industries and beyond.
Funds raised will directly support a specialist community project at Victoria School in the West Midlands, helping children with additional needs and the work of the Boparan Charitable Trust. The project will deliver two life‑changing improvements: the transformation of the school’s 40-year-old hydrotherapy pool into a modern, sensory‑focused therapy space, and the redevelopment of a condemned outdoor area into a fully accessible environment for learning, play, and sensory integration.
Andrew Western, Trek Leader and Head of Commercial at Amber Holdings, said:
“Visiting Victoria School and seeing the impact of the Boparan Charitable Trust was a massive eye‑opener for all of us. It’s turned the challenge into a deeply personal mission, knowing the difference it will make to so many young lives. During the visit some of the children gave us personalised pebbles, which we carried to the top of the mountain for them. Each of the team had the children’s names on their jackets, it’s as if they are on the journey with us.”
